TREE/study - VII is composed using an image of the tree/branches as a graphic score.
This piece has two parts. The first part is building of a stem, composed and comprised of multiple layers of multiphonics (live and in the tape),
complemented by distribution through 6 channel audio speakers. The second part is development of a tree crown- canon comprised of 6 voices illustrating
each branch. Melodic material of each branch is based on a graphic score and read by all three musicians simultaneously.
Each branch is recorded and repeatedly played-back using Max/MSP, slowly building up sonic sculpture of the whole tree, spatialized through 6 channel speakers.
