Concept:/ interpretation multi-layered “polyphonic” image data  for solo instrument. Stem:/ uses wide and narrow multiphonic intervals layered over time to create complex hallow harmonic structure. Branches:/ to generate single melodic lines, the  grid of a flute pitch range (vert) and  the grid of time (horiz)  was imposed on the  images of the tree branches. After each branch is played, computer repeats each melody stretched in time, gradually building up polyphonic structure of the whole tree...
